Die Zuhörer, eine atmosphärische Geschichte
[The Listeners, an atmospheric tale]

A very free adaptation of Walter de la Mare's poem "The Listeners", for the first time I have a film where I'm not the only member of the cast and crew! The inspiration for the visual style of this is mainly German cinema of the 1920s, specifically the work of F.W. Murnau. My sister’s partner wanted to film something while visiting for the holidays; so after a little bit of brainstorming, we shot and edited this in about a day. For that, I'm actually fairly happy with it.
